Hastelloy C22 welded pipe is also an excellent nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy, which is better suited to combat harsh chemical environments than the C276 material.

Hastelloy C276 welded pipe is a very stable nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with good corrosion resistance and strength. It has excellent corrosion resistance to chloride environments at all temperatures and concentrations, including hyperthermic and oxidizing salts such as iron and copper chlorides. As a result, this welded pipe has a wide range of applications in the chemical, petroleum, paper and environmental industries.

In contrast, Hastelloy C22 welded pipe is also an excellent nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy, which is better suited to combat harsh chemical environments than the C276 material. It remains stable in harsh environments, including wet chlorine, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen sulfide and chlorine oxide. As a result, it has been warmly welcomed in the chemical, food processing, and medical device industries.

C276 is high in molybdenum and tungsten, which improves corrosion resistance to reducing acids, pitting and interstitial corrosion resistance in aqueous chloride-containing environments, and high-temperature strength.6 C22, on the other hand, is high in chromium, so the alloy’s resistance to high-temperature oxidation is slightly better than that of C276, and its resistance to vulcanization is stronger than that of C276.

Marine engineering: for seawater treatment, ship pipelines and offshore platforms due to their excellent corrosion resistance.

Chemical industry: equipment and piping systems for handling strong acids, alkalis and corrosive media.

Nuclear energy industry: for nuclear reactor cooling system, nuclear waste disposal and radiation shielding equipment to ensure the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
